False...my daughter just went for an eye exam and they handed out a pamphlet saying if some myths were true or false. Apparently that one is false.True or false reading in the dark will ruin your eyes?
I think it will.reading in inadequate light will strain your eyes more than reading in a bit of soft light.

Don't think it would actually damage your eyes, but it might give you a headache. Am I right???
true because it cause your eyes to strain
Makes sense to me that if you strain your eyes to read you will ruin them. But i have no idea if it is a fact or not...
True because you strain your eyes more, if you can't see the words properly, due to the darkness!
False, it's a myth. It doesn't damage your eyes but can cause eyestrain.
Reading in any light source that makes reading difficult would be detrimental to your eyesight.
sounds like its true......cause are eyes have to work harder.....

Well if it's completely dark then you can't see it to read it in the first place, but if it is kinda dark and you can barely see and you try to read then I think ';yes'; it is bad for your eyes cause you have to strain them to see.I get a headache when I try to read like that.....
True. When I was a child and a book worm, many moons ago, we had no electric light upstairs. Believe it or not, my parents let me read by candlelight in bed!! I had constant pikes on my eyes and wore glasses.
