Opinions on False Eye Lashes?

i have just bought my first pair of false eye lashes off Lashes on Line. i am waiting for them to arrive in the mail, but want to no your opinions on false eye lashes.





is there anything i should no before i start? THIS IS MY VERY FIRST TIME EVER!


im a bit nervous as the glue is a bit scary, but can it harm your eyes?

I really like them. I wore some big ones for halloween recently, but I did get some natural ones to wear daily. I've gone back to mascara cos I need to get ready quickly in the morning so they aren't really for me, but anyway.


The glue is actually really hard to get IN your eye (I'm the clumsiest person and I didn't manage it), but if your worried, have a bit of tissue to quickly wipe it away. You have to hold the lashes down for like 10 seconds normally, meaning it'll take about 10 seconds to dry - so in that case, you'll be able to wipe it away as long as you get in there by 10 seconds - which is a long time to wipe off a bit of glue :P


Well the instructions are usually clear, but when you apply the glue to the eyelashes, wave the eyelashes in the air for about 5-10 seconds to make the glue tacky, applying the wet glue straight to your eyelashes won't work. So yeah just blow on it/wave it around for a bit to make the glue go tacky.


Its also a good idea to curl your real eyelashes first, not full on bend them but just curl them a bit so you can't see them AND the falsies. A line of liquid liner (optional) will look cool with them too :)


Oh and usually you'll have to cut the lashes to size to fit your eyes

Before you start, I would strongly recommend watching several ';how to apply false eyelashes'; tutorials on youtube. Where better to get tips and tricks than to watch girls actually apply them? When you're feeling confident enough to try, you'll have a bit better idea as to what you're doing.

just don't get the glue IN your eye. it won't harm it if its just on the outside, tons of ppl put on falsies daily! i think they can make a look SO much prettier, esp for those who really have minimum eye lashes. and sometimes i look at a girl and i don't even notice that she's wearing fake eye lashes until she tells me, so it can look really natural. don't worry. have fun!

You should avoid getting the glue in your eyes even if it doesn't harm your eyes. I think it depends on the brand and the specific materials they use, you may have an allergic reaction, i would get a sample before using them out.
