Beauty in the eyes of the beholder? True or False?

How exactly is that true?


I find it difficult to believe because there are certain people who I have known all my life regardless of where they go they will usually always be the hottest guy or girl at work, school, party, etc.


How is ';beauty in the eyes of the beholder'; if some people widely attract the opposite sex wherever they go and others are on the opposite spectrum?


One of my Aunts who married into the family is from Nigeria. She was pretty enough to commercials back there. Even though she has a thick accent, she still pulls a lot of American men.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't care how many people called someone beautiful,that doesn't mean that the person would be everyones type. some like short people, some like tall people, some like really smart people, some like average people. some light dark hair people some like light hair people.


lots of people think tom cruise is sex. I personally don't think so. I wouldn't say he's ugly,but he wouldn't be my pick of men.

It is true. That statement is a reminder that just because some people are widely attractive, doesn't mean every one else is unattractive. Some people considered average are seen as drop dead gorgeous to others. Not to mention some of these average or ugly people(subjectively speaking) have a lot more that stands out other than the way they look. Some one may find them unattractive because they aren't groomed to their liking or they don't have a certain occupation people look for in mingling with a person. This is all subjective, but the lust of the eyes don't lie.
Surveys have shown that hourglass figures aren't that important. Two, so because you can't get any men your going on this whole rant about nothing I guess. Three, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there are people one find beautiful that another doesn't. That is what they men when they say it, all of your crap about your aunt stuff is irrelevant.
It is true! The media does not have the monopoly on deciding what is beautiful! Some men my friends find attrative I really don't! They have a very different type to me





I don't see how it isn't in the eye of the beholder since I see all types of couples, some people I would never put together but they are! Does that not say something?! Are you trying to say that if some people don't appeal to as many people as somebody else then they must be ugly?
true. This basically means, If someone is beautiful or not thats your opinion, you know?


Say you see some guy and one of your friends thinks he's hott. And you think he's ugly, That's when ';Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'; applies. You n' your friend are the beholders. your friend thinks he's hott but you think he's ugly, It's just an opinion. Not everyone is beautiful to people, and not everyone is ugly to people.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder which is TRUE!!





And some people are brainwash to think that if you have a certain type of look then you're beautiful!!





edit: Look!!! You have to travel the world more because in reality not everybody is attracted to the same thing you think is beautiful!!
