How can it be false? Something is either beautiful, or it isn't, to whomever is looking at it. One person might look at a Picasso and see a beautiful work of art, while another looks at it and just sees a big ole mess. It explains why sometimes physically attractive people are linked to not so physically attractive people. They may not look good to us, but apparently they're beautiful to the person who is with them. I think there is nothing uglier than a Toyota Scion but judging from the number of them I see on the road, apparently there are those who find them to be attractive. Or maybe they were just high when they bought the boxy, assugly things.Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder........ is true or false?

It is true. However, more people might find the same thing beautiful. For instance 5 out of 6 guys might think that blond hair is prettier than brown, but to the 6th guy brown hair is prettier.

Look around you and you can see it's true. You probably see people 20 times a day and think ';What were they thinking when they bought THAT shirt!'; but they think it's gorgeous! Look at someone's girlfriend/boyfriend. husband/wife and think ';What the heck does he see in her/him?'; but they think they're the luckiest person in the world. It's apparent every day that beauty it definately in the eye of the beholder. There is no such thing as perfect, absolute or universal beauty! Aren't you glad? That means everyone is beautiful to someone!
What it means, in my opinion, is that the person who has the ability to see the beauty within someone, who mightnt be visibly beautitul, has the true beauty. And yes, I agree with that.
I think it is true! Why would it be false? Lets say you have a girlfriend and to you she is the most beautiful thing walking this earth, a definate 10 on a scale of 1-10 but to the next guy she's a 5!
We all like different things, different people. One woman loves skinny men, another loves big men. One man wants natual-looking women, another wants them to wear make-up. Blondes, brunettes, redheads; long fingernails, short fingernails; a really buff man, a not-at-all buff man. And on and on.
